Planning a new boiler in Newcastle: what to consider

Think about your hot water demand
How many bathrooms are used, and are several hot taps likely to run together? A combi supplies heating and hot water from one appliance; a system boiler works with a hot water cylinder. Suitability depends on the property and supply.
Ask what the quotation covers
Ask about the proposed boiler, controls, pipework changes, system preparation, removal of the old appliance and commissioning. A property assessment is needed before a final installation recommendation.
Read the warranty conditions
A headline warranty length is only part of the picture. Check the exact model, registration requirements, service schedule and any filter conditions. Do not assume that every installation qualifies for the same warranty.
